Trinity Preparatory School, founded in the fall of 2015, is a K-12th grade classical Christian school, serving families in South Jersey. TPS offers excellence in classical Christian education by exemplifying and encouraging a love for learning--one that glorifies God and loves His Word, is pleasantly rigorous, and that nurtures students to be competent, lifelong self-learners.
As a hybrid-school, TPS offers our main class days on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays and serves traditional school families by providing the option of an additional two days (Tuesday and Thursday) of structured study at the school for those who need it due to parents' work schedules. TPS also serves homeschooling families by preserving a structure conducive to the values of greater family time at home and the closer involvement of parents in their children's education.
As a Christian school, TPS is committed to the pursuit of all learning under the authority of the lord-ship of Jesus Christ. It emphasizes the moral, aesthetic, and worldview formation of students in the biblical tradition of the Old and New Testaments, and of the historic Christian faith.
As a classical school, TPS employs a methodology known as the Trivium, which uses age-appropriate strategies that teach with the grain of students' development and are structured along three stages: the Grammar stage (K-4th grade), the Logic stage (5-8th grade), and the Rhetoric stage (9-12th grade). In the classical tradition, it emphasizes the study of language, logic, math, science, history, rhetoric, the arts, and the enduring works of literature within the stream of Western Civilization. Students engage the Bible and classical literature as an integrated course of learning so that they may understand the lordship of Jesus Christ over all His creation within the spectrum of redemptive history, and may pursue that which is good, beautiful, and true according to the authority of Scripture, living out their faith with all wisdom and virtue.
Trinity Preparatory School is a non-profit corporation, and as a federally recognized 501c3 corporation may receive tax-deductible donations. TPS is a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) & the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). TPS adheres to the historic Christian faith, The Apostles' Creed, and the belief that the Bible is the very infallible, inerrant, written Word of God.
